Short bio: Certified Sampoorna Yoga Teacher (200h) Asha, born in Gent, started to practice yoga back in 1984 with Rita Poelvoorde while studying at Mudra, the dance school of Maurice Béjart in Brussels. Throughout her long and intensive career as a professional dancer, as founder and artistic director of the art center PLATEAU, and as the dance programmer for the Halles de Schaerbeek, Asha has continued to practice yoga on a daily basis.
She discovered Sampoorna Yoga at the Studio in Brussels and soon experienced the fullness of the practice and the transformation in her body and mind through the system developed by Shri Yogi Hari. Asha took the 200h Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Training Course with Shri Yogi Hari in 2012, and feels blessed to be part of the inspiring crew of teachers at the Sampoorna Yoga Studio in Brussels. At this studio Asha is teaching also Yin yoga.

Short bio: Chiara’s yoga path started in 2003, in Brussels, during a particularly stressful period at work. She soon experienced the fullness of the practice and the transformation in the body and mind through the system developed by Shri Yogi Hari, called “Sampoorna Yoga”: the Yoga of Fullness. The enthusiasm for yoga changed the course of her life and career. After experiencing different Yoga styles, in 2012 and 2013 she took the Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Training Course with Shri Yogi Hari. The same year (2012), Chiara left her job as a lawyer in the European Commission and now dedicates her time fully to sharing yoga with children, families and adults. Short bio: Dace started to practise yoga in early 2005 as part of upgrading her life after moving from Latvia to Brussels. For some time she enjoyed the flow and effort of Ashtanga practice, then was led to investigate and appreciate other yoga styles such as Iyengar, Anusara and Somatic yoga. A major turning point in her practice was Yin yoga and anatomy teacher training with Paul and Suzee Grilley (initiators of Yin yoga) in 2010. It opened wide new doors to asana exploration and reconnection with one’s body. Since then, Dace has completed several more Yin yoga teacher training courses with the Grilleys (2012–2018) and other internationally renowned Yin yoga teachers such as Bernie Clark (2014), Sebastian Pucelle and Murielle Burellier (2015) and Joe Barnett (2016), as well as several workshops with Sarah and Ty Powers, Donna Farhi, Max Strom, Amy Matthews and yet many others.
Dace started teaching weekly classes in 2012, workshops in 2014. Since 2015, she also teaches 20h anatomy module of the Brussels Yoga Loft Ashtanga Yoga TT. Short bio: Eknath grew up in a vegetarian family, where nature and respect for all beings was the daily theme song. During his teen years he got interested in yogic breathing techniques while practicing the saxophone. During his long career as a professional musician, Eknath practiced Tai Chi, Aïkido, Hatha Yoga, Chi Kung and meditation. He started practicing yoga regularly with Susannah Périllat in 1994. In 2008 – 2009, he participated in the 500h Sampoorna Yoga Teacher Training at Shri Yogi Hari’s Ashram in Florida. Eknath has been teaching classes and workshops full-time since then. He is the co-founder of the Sampoorna Yoga Studio in Brussels. Short bio: Emily has journeyed with yoga around the world. She first discovered yoga in 2005, sweating through Bikram classes in Atlanta, where it was sometimes cooler in the studio than outside. Spending a year in Thailand she began a mindful meditation technique but it wasn’t until facing a (benign) brain tumor and brain major surgery in her hometown of New York in 2008 that she first began to fully appreciate the important role yoga played in her life. She landed in Ottawa in 2011 and completed her 200-HR yoga teacher training in 2014. Short bio: Hugo Mega is a Portuguese artist and yogi resident in Brussels. Since an early age, Hugo has been working and exploring his body’s physical capacities through dance and circus. After finishing his circus studies he decided to explore yoga. What started as a nice way to stay in shape, became a passion. Thanks to his body awareness, his knowledge in anatomy and devotion to yoga, he became a yoga instructor. Short bio: The yoga path of Inês started in 2000, in Lisbon, her hometown. During her business studies she felt the way life was going was not as fulfilling as she thought it should be. Always accompanying her throughout her further studies in anthropology and more recently throughout her day job, yoga plays a crucial role in harmonising her thoughts with her actions, and keeping a healthy life. Laura undertook a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in Goa, India, with Himalaya Yoga Valley, and has been since attending numerous workshops and trainings all over the world in order to deepen her knowledge of the multiple aspects of yoga. In 2013 she did a Yin Yoga TTC with Integrated Yin Yoga, in Spain. Short bio: Peter (°1961) first got in touch with yoga in 2001, when he attended Hélène Petre’s Hatha yoga classes that were being organized during lunch break at one of his former daytime jobs. The gain in energy for the remaining working hours of the day was so tremendous that it left a lifetime lasting imprint.
Ever since he has continued exploring various yoga styles, as well as other bodywork styles such as Qi Gong and Tai Chi in order to explore greater physical and energetic well-being. Amongst yoga styles came Kundalini yoga, with teachers such as Christophe “Sat Darshan Singh” Degrauwe and Carlos “Sat Sunder Singh” Arandia. In 2012 he took the first three levels of the Transformational Breathing training with Isabelle Versé in Brussels. Then, after attending several workshops with Alberto Paganini, he decided to study Prana Yoga Flow at his Yogasoma school in Bruges, Belgium and was certified as level 1 teacher in June 2013.
End of June 2013 Peter left his full-time dayjob and started teaching part-time as an independent yoga teacher from September 2013 on, teaching both Prana Yoga Flow, Yin Yoga and invigorating “Early Bird” early morning yoga classes presenting a fusion of Kundalini and Hatha Yoga. The solid base in Yin yoga acquired during the training with Alberto Paganini was further developed through the 30 hours Yin Yoga training with Joe Barnett which Peter attended in March 2015.
Peter also teaches naturist yoga classes for men and out of his fairly boundless love for animals actively promotes a healthy vegan lifestyle through raising awareness and organizing vegan cooking classes.

Short bio: Sash, a native of Iran has been a truth seeker and Yogi since his early childhood. Ever since then, he seeks to come to a full understanding of the connection of body and mind. Whilst a student in India studying psychology at the University of Poona where he also confirmed his Yoga with Iyengar at his Institute of Yoga.
Sash arrived in Belgium in 1983, soon teaching Yoga whilst a student in clinical psychology at the Catholic University of Louvain, making also Yoga his topic of research. In 1998 he finally decided to make the practice of Yoga his full-time life calling, leaving careers in psychology and business. Over the last 30 years, Sash has taught Yoga and spread its light to thousands of students, teaching in health clubs like Aspria, David Llyods, Yoga club, and in the European Commission and the European Parliament. He took students for retreats and Yoga vacation to India and other places such as Greece and Mallorca.
As a Master (acharya) he began to instruct yoga teachers with his own curriculum as of 2010. Many students have turned to Sash for spiritual counseling, yoga therapy and coaching. Health clubs and Yoga teachers alike often invite him as a lecturer and speaker on Yoga and the art of living. He has shown the power of advanced Asanas in numerous demonstration. Above all, Sash believes that through the earnest and full practice of Yoga, humanity can be transformed into an eternally peaceful society.

Short bio: I found yoga in 2007 when I was burned out & in need of a life overhaul. The physical & mental practice of yoga brought me back to my body & into health: I got my focus back, my body felt physically better, my mind was clear. As a teacher, I support you to learn to tune into your own body again; to feel & listen to the incredible intelligence of your body. I want the health & feel-good benefits of yoga to be accessible for every body, all ages & all abilities. It doesn’t matter how flexible or fit you are, what matters is that you move & work with what you’ve got.
